Prenatal yoga can support you in connecting with your body and your baby during pregnancy and can help you prepare for giving birth.

When certified by health insurance, pregnancy yoga courses can even be covered by public health insurance. You can search the database of your health insurance provider to find them – though likely you will only find them taught in German.

The Familiengesundheitszentrum has been supporting families for 45 years

and offers a wide range of services and courses relating to birth and life as a family. This also includes an English pregnancy yoga course.

Get stronger, feel lighter and breathe more easily in your changing body and mind! This Pregnancy Yoga Class in English offers dynamic hatha elements and helpful breathing techniques to nourish and empower you all through pregnancy and beyond. An innovative, all-level class with a personal atmosphere. 

The course consists of 10 dates. It takes place on Tuesdays from 8pm to 9.15pm. You can attend it in person at Neuhofstraße in Frankfurt or online via Zoom.

The fee for the course is €120. You can ask your insurance if this will be covered.

YogaFundi

Yogafundi is led by Tam who completed her professional certification in 2015 in Rishikesh, India and (as of August 2024) offers private prenatal yoga courses

She may also be adding new group classes in the near future: Ask for new courses and when they start.
