This is a structured beginning-level classical ballet class for children. In a creative, age-appropriate way, we will introduce barre exercises, center exercises, and traveling steps. Each class includes exercises designed to develop flexibility, posture, grace, and confidence, and some fun and creative elements to keep the spirit of play present as we develop beginning ballet technique.
LEVEL REQUIREMENTS
For this class children should be at least 5 years old and ready to join the class alone. No previous ballet experience required. If you're not sure if your child will enjoy this workshop, please come to a trial session in one of our weekly classes.
WHAT TO WEAR & WHAT TO BRING
For ballet classes, we recommend a leotard, ballet tights, soft ballet slippers and hair in a bun or ponytail. Please bring a water bottle.
