The BIWoC and TINA Pregnancy Group aims to provide a space for pregnant individuals who identify as BIWoC (Black, Indigenous, Women of Color) and TINA (Trans, Inter, Non-Binary, Agender) BIPoC persons.

This space is open for conversations, building new connections, sharing information and resources, as well as exchanging experiences, joys, and concerns.

For theur upcoming session, there will be a special topic highlighted - Self-advocacy strategies in prenatal care and childbirth. They will create a space to discuss the significance of self-advocacy in this context and explore potential strategies together.

The meeting will continue to be a place for open sharing of feelings, emotions, and experiences, as your individual needs and concerns are important.

Collaborative activities can also be part of the group, such as creating a birth plan, trying out relaxation exercises, or formulating self-advocacy strategies during pregnancy, prenatal care and childbirth. Moreover, we can engage in creative endeavors as well.

Every individual is warmly invited to contribute, engage in collaborative research, and share knowledge.
