We’ve been a part of Kita Billabong since 2019, navigating through the challenges of COVID-19 and various ups and downs. After all this time, here's what I can share:
As a parent-run Kita, it can sometimes be challenging. Parents need to invest time, effort, and energy. The more we contribute, the more we support our teachers, and the better our children thrive.
We've experienced times when parents and teachers weren't fully aligned, but we've also seen periods—like now—where we've built a strong, supportive community that truly helps one another.
Our core value is inclusivity, ensuring that every child feels safe being themselves and is encouraged to pursue what they care about.
Throughout the years, one thing has remained constant with our teachers: they approach their work with passion and genuine care. They love our kids wholeheartedly and prioritize their well-being. All of them embrace the situational approach, fostering independence in our children.

This place is such a valuable part of my son’s life. It’s a wonderfully friendly environment with very caring and patient teachers who clearly love working with the kids. On top of that, the community of parents is inclusive and supportive of one another. We absolutely love it here!

Impression:
Our son has been very well supported by the wonderful teachers at Kita Billabong. It is rare to find caregivers who so closely align with our values and who truly care about raising kids intentionally. As a bonus - the kita is a wonderful place for bilingual families to find community and for parents looking to have an active role in their child's upbringing.

The teachers are extremely knowledgeable and have been amazing for my two kids. The Kita is small, gentle, safe and inclusive. This is the third Kita we’ve tried in Berlin and it is by far the best experience we have had.
