I am Paula, a mum of 3 children (aged 11, 4 & 2) who are growing up multilingual.
After my studies, I worked as a teacher for German as a foreign language in adult education. I taught various language courses from A0- C1. There was the standard language course, but also conversation courses, writing courses, exam preparations and one-to-one tuition. I also offered German coaching at a vocational school for nursing professions.
After the birth of my two youngest children, it quickly became clear that I would not be able to go back into my profession as before. My job is my vocation, so I looked for ways to combine my professional and private life.
My offer "Learn German and your child is with you" starts here. I can organise my courses and one-to-one lessons individually, coordinate them with the parents and hopefully do something good for the families with my work.
I have experienced in a wide variety of contexts how important linguistic competence is for social, cultural and professional participation. Especially the sensitive time with a baby and toddler often represents a turning point in parents' lives (also) from a linguistic perspective. The hurdles become higher, expectations increase, unprepared situations have to be mastered.
It is therefore a matter close to my heart to provide an offer here.
