About 👋

Hi, I am Carly,

a Doula Trainings International (DTI) certified Doula from England with a deep understanding of what it means to offer unconditional support.

As well as my Doula qualifications and with over three years experience supporting families in the postpartum period, I have a wealth of experience from my career as a Senior Nurse in the NHS where I worked in one of the top London hospitals for over eleven years.

As a mother of two myself with different pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experiences, I am here to support you during this intimate and transformative experience.

I am an experienced and specially trained healthcare provider, with a deep understanding of the anatomy and physiology of conception, labour and birth. I provide support in the emotional, physical and spiritual aspects of the prenatal, postpartum and newborn period.

My current practice focuses mainly on postpartum (fourth trimester) care for new families here in Berlin. I also offer support in reproductive health (including non-medical conception advice and fertility treatment support).

I am passionate about preparing expecting parents for the life-changing act of conception, carrying, and delivering a child. Proper holistic pre-conception care including good nutrition, emotional and spiritual support and wellbeing can not only help pregnancy happen in the first place but can ensure optimal health for the mother during the first forty weeks of gestation, throughout the postpartum period and the many years of mothering ahead. Pre-conception care and support can also be linked with infant health and wellbeing.

Every baby is unique –as your Doula I am here to help you familiarize yourself with normal newborn behaviors and needs during the postpartum period. My role is to help you feel supported so that you can bond more deeply with your child. I recognize that each family unit is different and will have different needs.

For the first-time parent(s) everything is brand new. My role is to serve parents during this time with gentle guidance, reassurance and tangible support.

I look forward to supporting more new families and being an active member of the Kietzee community.

The Blessingway Ceremony (from €500)

A beautiful alternative to a modern day baby shower is the Blessingway ritual.

This ancient Navajo ceremony is designed to celebrate and honor a mother-to-be as she prepares to give birth whether for the first, third or tenth time.

We can work together to create a bespoke ceremony that feels perfect for you. Whether it be in your home or a venue of your choice (I have some unique and beautiful options here in Berlin).

We will create a joyful ceremony focusing on gathering close female friends and family members together to honor the new mother.

The ceremony will be tailored to your personal wishes and can include relaxing sound baths, warming tea ceremonies, smudge stick energy cleansing, sharing delicious nurturing food and snacks, aromatherapy infused foot baths, belly painting, wild flower crown making, singing, sharing messages of love and support and revitalizing head, neck, and shoulder massages.
