Dear parents,
I am Natasha, born and raised in South Africa.
I have lived in Berlin however for most of my adult life and am bilingual.
I would say the time in school was difficult for me and I always somehow knew I wanted to help children because of this.
I worked for many years in a Kindergarten but knew I would strive the mosts helping children in a 1-1 context so I studied inclusive education and specialized in dyslexia.
I then trained further here in Berlin to be a learning therapist.
For the past 8 years I have worked as a learning support coordinator in a primary school and have know started part-time giving parent consultations on how to not just navigate the system here but build up their children‘s self-esteem.
I especially integrate growth mindset into my work. I am also the author of a German children’s book „Sams grüner Daumen“ on Math difficulties & growth mindset.
