About šŸ‘‹

Hi, Iā€™m MĆ©lanie, but you can also call me Mel or Melody.

Born in a quaint village in the French part of Switzerland, surrounded by two amazing brothers, my multicultural upbringingā€”courtesy of my Portuguese dad and Swiss-German momā€”fueled my love for exploring the world and understanding human behaviors in various settings, including schools and Kitas.

After three rewarding years in social work, a sabbatical year led me to meet my German partner in Asia, prompting a move to Berlin.

Through my roles as a teacher and childcare educator, Iā€™ve had the privilege of collaborating with a lot of parents. This experience not only deepened my understanding of the challenges of parenting in our individualistic society but also revealed a significant gap in the support system for parents. Recognizing this lack of support became a pivotal moment in my journey, unveiling my passion as a Doula.

What sets me apart is my intuitive and open-minded approach to doula care. I understand that every family is unique, and there is no one ā€œrightā€ way to give birth or raise a child.

Thatā€™s why Iā€™m here to help you navigate the choices and decisions that come with this transformative time, while respecting your values, beliefs, and individuality.

If youā€™re looking for a doula who is passionate, knowledgeable, and deeply committed to helping you and your family thrive, I would be honored to work with you.

Letā€™s connect and explore how I can best support you on this amazing journey!
