About 👋

Good day. I am Tobias.

I am a licensed osteopath and a devoted father of three children, the youngest of whom was born in the summer of 2024.

My practice is situated in the western region of Berlin, specifically between the neighborhoods of Wilmersdorf and Grunewald.

I am particularly interested in working with infants and children, as well as assisting pregnant women in coping with the challenging changes their bodies undergo during this period.

My wife experienced lower back pain during her last pregnancy, and osteopathic treatment was not an effective long-term solution.

I continued my research and discovered that a combination of the Feldenkrais method and osteopathic techniques proved to be the most effective solution, with positive results observed after just one treatment.

I look forward to finding the right treatment for you and your kids.

I offer osteopathy treatments for adults, pregnant people as well as babies, children and adolescents. I am also a licensed Feldenkrais method practicioner.

The Feldenkrais Method is a form of somatic education that uses gentle movement and heightened awareness to improve physical and mental functioning. It aims to help individuals develop new patterns of movement, reduce pain, and enhance flexibility, coordination, and overall well-being.

I especially like working with pregnant people and babies for the following symptoms and more:

  • The female body undergoes significant changes during pregnancy, which can result in difficulties for the mother-to-be in adapting her movement patterns. This can lead to persistent back pain. Osteopathy, sometimes in combination with the Feldenkrais method, can be highly efficient.

  • In infants with digestive issues, the digestive movements are a new experience for the baby, which may result in abdominal discomfort and contractions. Mobilizing the infant's abdomen by holding it on its side and relaxing it through movement can be beneficial in such cases.

A typical treatment lasts approximately 60 minutes, although the duration may be shorter for children, contingent on their current condition.

The standard charge for a treatment is €90.

It is often advisable to undertake three treatments at weekly intervals. The interval may be shorter for infants and occasionally longer for adults.

Insurance Coverage

Many of our guide's services are covered by insurance. Please check with your insurance provider to see if you are covered.

The majority of German private health insurance companies provide comprehensive coverage for osteopathic treatments.

Additionally, many statutory health insurance companies offer partial reimbursement for these services.

In order to receive reimbursement, a prescription from a physician may be required.

It is therefore advisable to ascertain the specific terms of your health insurance policy in this regard. This information can be obtained by searching for the name of your insurance provider and the term "osteopathy" online, or by contacting the relevant department by telephone or email.
