About 👋

Hello Everyone!

My name is Simone Weigel, I am an osteopath who treats the whole family, from the first day of life to the last. All ages are welcome.

I combine the concept of classical osteopathy with that of applied kinesiology and tailor the treatment to each individual patient.

After 4 years working at an osteopathy practice, I have now ventured into self-employment and look forward to treating you in my own practice.

I was born in the Sauerland region of Germany in 1993 and grew up there. From 2003 to 2012, I competed professionally in skeleton in the Winterberg squad. During this time, I developed a special ambition that helped me a lot during my studies.

I realized early on how important a good body image, a healthy diet and balance are. Unfortunately, I had to give up my dream of competing in the Olympics due to a sports accident.

However, this is exactly what led me to osteopathy. It helped me to overcome my chronic headaches.

I would like to help you with the knowledge I have acquired. It is particularly important to me to see the body as a unit and to listen to the tissue.

During my treatment, I try to address body, mind and soul in order to restore the natural balance.

I look forward to welcoming you to my osteopathy clinic in Berlin Mitte!

Offerings ❤️

View Simone's services and/or packages

I am passionate about working with pregnant people, new mothers, infants, children, teenagers and beyond. Below you can find a description of the symptoms I can help with.

The costs for each appointment are €130 (50-60 minutes).

Infants

It is my deep passion to give even the youngest children the best possible start in life.

My work and my heart lie in trusting completely in the abilities of my hands. It fills me with joy to feel the tension and to see how the babies clearly relax. I make a point of showing parents holds, exercises and massage techniques that they can use at home to further promote their child’s well-being.

I strongly recommend that every infant is examined and treated osteopathically in the first few weeks of life. This makes it possible to recognize and treat possible misalignments and tensions early on, before they potentially lead to painful complaints as the child grows.

Many problems can be avoided through early intervention, which can contribute to healthier development and a happier start in life.

This careful care and preventative treatment can prepare each child for the rest of their life in the best possible way. By intervening at an early stage, we ensure that every child has the best possible chance to develop without restrictions.

My specializations in osteopathy for infants:

  • Issues with breastfeeding (latching difficulty, preference for one side)

  • Crying, fussiness, difficulty settling, sleep disturbances

  • Swallowing problems

  • Colic

  • Persistent reflexes

  • Asymmetries

  • One-sided head rotation

  • Helmet therapy

  • Hip dysplasia

  • Nervous and restless babies

  • Teething

  • Birth trauma (long, short, ventouse, forceps)

Kids and Teens

Childhood and adolescence are phases of life full of movement and growth. During this time, children experience intense physical and psychological changes.

I have therefore made it my mission to recognize changes in behaviour or motor skills at an early stage and, if necessary, to treat them osteopathically. My aim is to create optimal conditions for unhindered development.

My specializations in osteopathy for children and adolescents:

  • Poor posture and scoliosis: I correct poor posture to prevent long-term complaints.

  • After accidents: I support the healing of injuries caused by sports or car accidents.

  • Emotional events: I treat physical symptoms that can be triggered by strong emotional experiences.

  • Tooth and jaw misalignments: I work to correct and provide support to improve overall posture.

  • Pain and discomfort: I alleviate headaches, stomach aches and growing pains. Developmental delays: I promote areas such as speech, motor skills, coordination and balance.

  • Behavioral problems: I support with hyperactivity, withdrawal, bedwetting and anxiety. Sleep problems and learning difficulties: I improve the quality of sleep and the ability to concentrate.

  • Health promotion: I strengthen immunity and improve dysfunctions of the eyes and respiratory organs.

Osteopathy during pregnancy and postnatal

Unfortunately, many women experience various complaints during pregnancy. These can include:

  • Nausea

  • Back and pelvic pain

  • Pain in the pubic bone area

  • Frequent urge to urinate

  • Feelings of tension in the abdomen

  • Heartburn

  • Water retention

Each trimester brings its own challenges, and it is my declared aim to be at your side during this time in particular. Too often I hear from women that their worries and complaints are dismissed with comments such as “You have to get through it now” or “You’re pregnant, get used to it”.

Support during the trimesters:

  • In the first trimester, I focus on supporting implantation and ensuring optimal care.

  • In the second trimester, the focus is on alleviating existing complaints and, if necessary, correcting poor posture.

  • In the third trimester, the focus is on creating space and preparing the pelvis for the birth.

Postnatal

  • Rebalance any strains from giving birth or from the pregnancy

  • Settle post-birth aches and pains with less long term discomfort

  • Relieve discomfort from handling or feeding the baby

  • Speed your recovery by helping you and your body get over the shock of the birth

  • Help you avoid long term back and pelvis

  • Recovery support after c-section, episiotomy, incontinence, prolapse

  • Pelvic floor training
