About 👋

Hi there!

I am an artist, art therapist, and horticultural therapist (therapy with plants, nature, & gardening!) with a Master of Art Therapy.

My goal is to hold a space that provides you with the freedom to explore anything you need to explore. My work is designed to provide you with the tools necessary to nurture connections and a self-sustainable way of life.

I work with all but my work has mostly focussed on international people; whether they be relocating expat families, refugees, or international students!

Offerings ❤️

View Marlayna's services and/or packages

I currently offer individual online sessions for adults/parents, kids from 7 years old or parents together with their kids (in which case the kids can be younger).

We will start with a free initial consultation so we can meet, discuss your needs and see what access to space and materials you have. If we decide to work together, I will design a plan specifically for you.

Here are some of the situations art therapy can be helpful in:

  • I specialize in working with families where some forms of neurodivergence is present, such as ADHD or autism.

  • Art therapy can be helpful in many situations, including transitions, relocation or attachment challenges.

  • I can also help parents understand their children better.

No previous art experience or skills are necessary and the sessions can also incorporate crocheting, knitting, making slime or posters out of dried flowers, etc.

In addition to art making, as a therapist I also offer insights into the nervous system and psycho education.

Pricing

I charge €120 per 60-minute session for parents and €120 per session (30 to 45 minutes) when working with children.

Sessions can go up to 90 minutes when working with parents as a couple or family groups.

I offer free parent support when I work with children, this parent work focuses on attachment, self-regulation, and how to connect with your kids and their big behaviours.

I always offer a sliding scale price, to insure that everyone has access to quality care.
