Café Heimelig at Diemelstr. 9 follows the motto social.local.with heart. You can expect yummy cakes, coffee and a breakfast which is served until 2pm.
What's special about Café Heimelig? People of all generations work here in the kitchen and find a new purpose. That's why you can expect treats that taste like grandma's.
The café is open Wednesday-Sunday from 11am to 6 pm and offers a tasty insight on Instagram.
The Schiffercafé awaits its guests in Sachsenhausen and is run by the Frankfurt Children's Office. It serves French-Italian cuisine, homemade cakes, ice cream, croissants and baguettes.
There is a coloring corner for children and a popular playground opposite where they can run and play.
The café is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 8pm, Saturday from 8am to 7pm and on Sundays and public holidays from 9am to 7pm.
At Café Wunderbar at Antoniterstr. 16, guests can expect delicious food, friendly, cosmopolitan staff and a pleasant atmosphere.
For children, there is not only a play corner with building blocks, but also pens and paper and even a lovingly designed children's menu. This means families can enjoy a cozy meal together and have fun. There is also a changing table.
The international cuisine on offer includes a large breakfast menu, starters, soups, salad variations, pasta, vegetarian and wholefood dishes, fish and meat dishes, snacks and children's dishes and desserts.
There is an art exhibition that changes monthly, special offers and a regular brunch.
The Wunderbar is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to midnight.
If you've been out and about at the zoo, the Kaffeehaus am Zoo is perfect for a little break.
The child-friendly café was opened in 2006 and is located on Alfred-Brehm-Platz right next to the zoo with a view of the fountain. Children will find a coloring corner and games, while adults can enjoy their coffee and a large selection of magazines.
The menu includes breakfast, lunch, cakes and ice cream.
It is open Monday to Saturday from 8am to 9pm, Sunday from 8am to 8pm and on public holidays from 9am to 8pm.
Picknick Café in Frankfurt Nordend
The baby-friendly café at Spessartsstr. 2 has a ramp so that you can easily get in and out with a buggy. The café has both indoor and outdoor seating.
A changing table is located on the way to the toilets and can therefore be used by all parents. Nappies and wet wipes are also available. You can find a play corner and boxes with various toys scattered around the café.

The Luisa Waldcafe is located in the Waldspielpark Luisa at Mörfelder Landstraße. There you will find a little play paradise including a large wooden castle and a water playground in the summer.
The forest play park is great for families: Here you can spend a day in the countryside and take a trip to the café in between. The parents can enjoy tasty cakes, snacks and drinks while the kids play.
The opening hours are Wednesday to Friday from 2pm to 6pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am to 6pm.
Kidsity - a café with countless play options - is located at Dieselstraße 87 in Mühlheim am Main. In the indoor play area, which is set up like a small town, children can explore six different areas. These include a mini supermarket, a school and a fire station.
In addition to unlimited play fun, a café with hot and cold drinks, snacks and small child-friendly dishes awaits all guests.
Kids under 12 months are free. Admission for two hours at Kidsity costs €9 for children aged 12 months and over. Adults pay €2 for their visit. There are also special offers for birthdays or parties.

The Spiel-Café Zebulon was founded in 1998 and offers a cozy if eclectic atmosphere.
Children can enjoy a large playroom with a playhouse, slide and trampoline. Visitors can also relax outside in the leafy courtyard. This is partially covered and also offers play opportunities.
Admission costs €1 and has to be paid with the first drink.
We found mixed reviews, so the only way to find out if it’s your cup of tea is to go and visit yourself: The café is normally open daily from 3pm to 6 pm. On Sundays, you can pop in from 9am to play.
Café Karin is a cozy family café that is located in the city center. You will find a little play corner for kids as well as a changing table.
As a special extra, you will find a changing art exhibition here and can enjoy the view of the house where Johann Wolfgang von Goethe was born.

The MoniKaffee is a family information café in Gallus. Mums, dads, families with children aged 0 to 6, grandparents and senior citizens are all welcome. It is a café run by the Sozialdienst katholischer Frauen in Frankfurt e.v. in the Monikahaus family center.
This is a place where families can play and have fun together or relax with coffee and cake for a small price. It is also an opportunity to exchange ideas, information and suggestions.
You can use the following services: Advice and information, discussion groups with experts, family education programmes and courses, language meetings for women learning German, midwife consultations and exchanges, creative activities for young and old, wellness breakfasts and feel-good offers, information on other offers for families in Gallus and throughout Frankfurt.

Every Tuesday from 3:30 to 5:30 pm (except during the Hessian school holidays) there is an exchange in the foyer of the community center in Bruchfeldstr. 51. You have the chance to socialize, enjoy coffee and tea, share experiences and have fun together.
Kids will find toys and books and they can play together. The Cafè Krümel is open to families of all religions! Registration is not necessary.

This restaurant is located in the Frankfurt city forest. The restaurant offers modern German cuisine with typical specialties from the region. There are meals that children like and you will also find a playground.
Before your visit, you can go for a walk in the forest and at the restaurant you can sit outside to eat in summer. In the winter months, you can enjoy the chimney room.
