Looking for something to do with your kiddo in Berlin, but in Spanish? Here’s a list of fun activities in Spanish for kids of different ages.

Parent & Child Group in Spanish (Charlottenburg)

Haus der Familie in Charlottenburg offers a group for Spanish-speaking families with kids 0 to 2 years old. The little ones can play together while the grown-ups watch and chat in Spanish. As of December 2024, the meetup takes place on Mondays from 11:00-12:00. €6 per family, registration required. Learn more.

Spanish Speaking Playgroup at Das Haus (Friedrichshain)

Family center Das Haus offers a weekly playgroup for Spanish speaking families with kids aged 0 to 24 months. As of October 2023, it takes place on Wednesday afternoons from 14:00 to 16:00. This is a free event, no registration required. Das Haus also offers 1-on-1 consultations for families in Spanish. More information.

Instituto Cervantes (Mitte)

Instituto Cervantes offers different classes and workshops on Saturdays for kids 2 to 12 years old to promote the Spanish language and the culture of Spanish-speaking countries. Classes include dance, music, art, theater, Spanish as a mother tongue, and more. This music school offers various activities for kids in Spanish, including a choir, Flamenco dance, music classes for babies and toddlers as well as 1-on-1 instrument lessons. There is a fee for the classes. Learn more.

Club Solete offers different courses and activities to help you promote your children's Spanish by accompanying them with age appropriate activities. They offer a playgroup for children 0 to 2 years old, language promotion classes for Kita-aged kids, the Spanish Alphabet for school-aged kids, workshops, excursions, bilingual readings, and more. Afloat Support Group for Spanish Speaking Moms (Online)

Afloat runs a monthly online support group for Spanish speaking mothers in Germany. It provide a (safe) space to connect and accompany each other during the different stages of motherhood and the various challenges that come with being away from your country and culture. As of October 2023, the group meets online every second Tuesday of the month. Participation is free but registration is required. Learn more.
